Who can play in the Youth league?
The Youth league is open to anyone ages 5-16 for no-contact inline hockey. All skill levels welcome.


My child has never skated or played hockey. Is that okay?

Yes, all of our Youth league programs are for all skill levels.


What are the age divisions in the Youth league?

There are three different age divisions within the Youth league that are available as options during registration.

  • U9 (ages 5-9)
  • U12 (ages 10-12)
  • U15 (ages 13-15)


What is the format of the Youth league?

The Youth league consists of a weekly practices. During the halfway point, CHA HKY Youth league coaches will organize games/scrimmages during practices.


What night does the Youth league play?

Tuesday nights - U9 at 6pm and U12 + U15 at 7pm.


Where are practices held?

CHA HKY hockey rink at the Chatt Town Skate Park (behind the First Tennessee Pavilion) in Chattanooga's Southside neighborhood.


When are the seasons?
There are two Youth League seasons and registration typically opens about a month before each season starts:

Fall: 11 practices (September - December)
Winter: 12 practices (January - April)


Will a jersey be provided?

Yes! A  jersey will be provided at the start of the season.


How much does registration cost? 

$175 ($150 with early discount). Price includes a parking permit that is good for the entire season. Parking permit hang tags will be distributed by coaches at the start of the season.
